Master’s Program in Quranic and Hadith Sciences:

Imam Sadiq University, in accordance with its mission to educate committed and efficient individuals in the field of Islamic humanities, strengthen religious faith and zeal, promote Islamic ethics, and refine the self based on Islamic teachings, and in line with the Vision Document, which emphasizes the dissemination of Islamic knowledge and the cultivation of elites—goals that cannot be achieved without reference to the Quran and authentic hadiths from the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them) has also acted based on Article Four, which underscores the reinforcement of research, particularly toward establishing epistemological systems based on Islamic teachings, expanding the frontiers of Islamic sciences, and fostering interdisciplinary research between Islamic and social-human sciences. In continuation of this trajectory of expanding and launching programs at the graduate level, the university has introduced the “Quranic and Hadith Sciences” program for the academic year 2024-2025, with the approval of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, at the Women's Campus. The program admits female students who have achieved the required score in the entrance exam for Quranic and Hadith Sciences.

Religious knowledge is founded on two pillars: The Quran and authentic hadiths from the Infallibles (peace be upon them). Addressing religious issues is only possible through these two fundamental principles. In other words, integrating all branches of religious knowledge, such as jurisprudence, philosophy, Quranic and Hadith sciences, and conducting in-depth interdisciplinary studies among these fields can significantly resolve issues related to religious knowledge. Additionally, this program has a high capacity for integration with most humanities disciplines and contributing to solving problems in those areas. Notably, one of the long-standing goals of the Women's Campus has been organizing interdisciplinary studies.
