Department of English Education

English Department of Imam Sadiq University (peace be upon him) has revised its own English language program in 1386 which consists of general and specialized English language courses. The length of the general course is 6 academic semesters in 3 years. In the course of a semester, the students take 4 hours per week. In order to improve students’ listening and speaking, they are supposed to take movie classes in the laboratory and also pass the exam. After finishing the aforementioned 6 English courses, students can take some extra English courses like TOEFL and IELTS.
